Following my latest major collision, the #SIMONSTRONG campaign was born.

Thousands of cyclists on social media showed their support for me on Twitter as I laid critically injured in intensive care, the #SIMONSTRONG Twitter hashtag became the focus for peoples support and anger at the plight he suffered.
Within weeks a special one off bike was created by specialist paint company – Performance Race Art – exclusively featuring the names of 685 Twitter followers who showed their support.
#SIMONSTRONG is now being used as the identity for the fundraising activity that Simon is now undertaking for the Air Ambulance service to who he attributes his life being saved.

Now October 2020 I'm getting back to my old self riding everyday on the zwift to build my confidence and fitness and then next year I'm going cycling in Spain thanks to the help from Kelly Hall Forever Living and Velo Tours Spain.

Kelly and Phil Hall are doing a 130km walk over one month to help raise money for my recovery as well as writing to potential sponsors and the media to help me out.
